Entering Scores for Open Assessments

Score entry is one of the most frequently used features in SA3. It is designed to be fast, forgiving of poor internet connections, and straightforward.

How to Enter Scores​

  1. Go to Staff Portal > Score Entry, or navigate directly from an open assessment on the dashboard
  2. Select the assessment
  3. The student roster appears with a score field next to each name
  4. Type each student's score and click or tap elsewhere -- the score saves automatically (no "Submit" button needed)

Offline Mode​

If your internet connection drops while entering scores, SA3 continues to work. Scores are saved locally on your device and will sync automatically when the connection is restored. You do not need to do anything extra -- the system handles the sync in the background.

Scores can only be entered for assessments that are currently Open. Once an assessment is closed by the administrator, the score fields become read-only.
