Welcome to SA3

SA3 is a web-based school management platform built specifically for international schools. It replaces the patchwork of tools that most schools rely on today -- handwritten mark sheets, shared spreadsheets, WhatsApp group chats for grade updates, manual report card printing, and the risk of data being lost, inconsistent, or inaccessible when it matters most.

With SA3, every piece of academic data lives in one place. Staff enter scores on their phones or laptops, reports are generated automatically in PDF format, and administrators have full oversight of the school's academic activity in real time.

What SA3 Replaces

Old waySA3 replaces it with
Mark sheets and exercise booksDigital score entry with automatic grade calculation
Shared spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)A centralised database with role-based access
WhatsApp grade sharingA secure staff portal where information flows through proper channels
Manually typed or printed report cardsAutomatically generated PDF reports per student
Informal verbal handoversStructured teacher remarks stored per student, per term
No audit trail for score changesA complete, tamper-proof log of every edit

User Roles

SA3 uses a role-based access system. Every staff member is assigned one or more roles, and those roles determine what they can see and do.

RoleWhat they can do
AdminFull access to everything. Configures the school, manages all users, creates assessments, finalizes and generates reports.
PrincipalSchool-wide view of all classes and results. Can finalize report groups, generate report cards, and write principal remarks.
Vice PrincipalSimilar to the Principal, with permissions scoped to their designated area of responsibility.
HOD (Head of Department)Department-level oversight. Can view classes and assessments within their department.
TeacherSees only the classes they are assigned to. Enters scores and writes class teacher remarks.
Teaching AssistantCan view assigned classes and enter assignment scores, but cannot modify final grades or close assessments.

A staff member can hold more than one role. For example, a teacher who also serves as a Head of Department would have both the Teacher and HOD roles active simultaneously.
